Event Planning Backstage Event Guidelines


Our venue is open to all brothers and sisters. These include hospitalities, pioneer lunches, memorials, spiritual functions, baby showers and talent show. Because our venue is known by so many, all brothers and sisters who are in good standing are welcomed. If you wish to have a gathering with a private invitation only guest list, then there is a event fee.  Contact me personally on this.

 

Everyone who attends should contribute some food, beverage or supply item. 

All music has been selected. You may add a request that is in line with Bible standards.

Parking lot can accommodate up to 15 cars if properly directed. Assign someone to direct.

No Alcohol: For good reason, no alcoholic beverages are allowed on the property. Some friends struggle with alcohol.  Drinking from your vehicle and returning to our gathering is totally unacceptable.  

Please supervise your children. This is not a place to run or play.  Failure to control your child will result in taking the child home.   

Ball games are not permitted, but you can provide table games to keep children occupied.

Reminders for a successful Event

1. Come early to set up.

2. Unless otherwise discussed, do not rearrange tables. There must be a safe exit path in case of an emergency or civil disturbance.

3. Buffet chafing pans and serving utensils are provided, provide sterno’s

4. If you plan to BBQ, make sure to fill two propane tanks for cooking. (Cal Gas: 95 S White Rd, San Jose, CA 95116 – (408) 258-2553)

5. Provide toilet paper and paper towels for the restrooms.

6. Ensure all trash is removed upon completion of your event. 

7. Assign food attendants to keep kitcheon & buffet areas clean.

8. Have a cleanup crew ready to help with garbage removal upon completion.

9. Assign a brother for prayer.
